HSS has a wide variety of generators to suit any circumstance. A choice of petrol or diesel generators are available from 750W up to 100kVA and above, with runtimes from 3 to 24 hours. A selection of the generators are also silenced and road-towable.
If you're unsure which generator is best for you, our branch staff are happy to assist you. Call your local branch on 0345 608 8811 with the combined wattage of all the items the generator will be supplying power to. (Wattage of an item can normally be found on the rear of the item(s) or on a label close to the socket. This information can also be found on the manufacturer's website.)
If we don't have the generator you require in stock, the HSS OneCall service (38457 66 77 77) can source you an alternative quickly and efficiently.

Another myth that features the sirens is that of Jason and the Argonauts. Like Odysseus, Jason and his men also had to sail past the siren’s island. Fortunately for the Argonauts, they had Orpheus, the legendary musician, with them. As the sirens began to sing their song, in the hopes of seducing the Argonauts, Orpheus played a tune on his lyre. The music overpowered the voices of the sirens, and the Argonauts were able to sail safely past the island. Only one Argonaut, Butes, was enchanted, and he jumped out of the ship in order to swim to them. Fortunately for him, he was saved by Aphrodite, who took him from the sea, and placed him in Lilybaeum.

Ground Disturbance is required training for any worker who either disturbs the ground using hands on powered equipment to a depth that mat contact underground facilities or works in or around a trench large enough for people to enter. Although this course was originally intended for supervisors, it has become industry standard training for all workers involved in ground breaking work.  This course is a thorough review of IRP 17, but also covers Part XVII of the Saskatchewan OH&S Regulations which deals with excavation, trenches, and excavated shafts.
